Introduction and Research topics
This new Special Issue from Chinese Geographical Science, ‘Environmental Geography’, strives to capture new discovery of environmental science with distinctive geographical features. The Special Issue is seeking high-quality research articles on, but not limited to, the following topics:
● Researches on environmental pollution including traditional issue and emerging pollutants, ecological protection, future changes in water, carbon, and nitrogen cycling, on the regional and global scales;
● Innovative biogeochemical studies in glacier, snow and ice, forest, river valley, sand dust, grassland, farmland, and coastal wetlands;
● Novel methods in solving problems of environmental geography, including remote sensing, satellite observation, and advanced modeling studies in the area of environmental geography.
